Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
I just got back from our family vacation in Bullhead City Arizona and Las Vegas! It was such a blast and I can't wait to tell you all about it. I must say that I tried blogging down there several times but it just wouldn't connect for some reason! Oh well, over the next couple of days I will fill you in.
So Christmas was fabulous! I got tickets for the Heldey concert in March, woohoo! I also got American money to go shopping in Vegas!I was so thrilled, because I will admit I have not gone shopping in quite awhile. I couldn't wait to give people the gifts I got for all of my family because I just love picking stuff for people especially when I have a really good feeling that they are going to like it. haha:)
It was great to spend time with family and play some fun games like Apples to Apples. Have you played it? It`s a lot of fun! I also devoured grandma's butter tarts and chocolate squares..mmm.. one of the best parts about Christmas! When we were at grandma's house, Leighton and I found an American flag and got even more excited about going to Arizona the next day! I just had a really awesome Christmas, how about you?
When we flew into picked up our rent-a-car to drive to Arizona and it was a 2010 Camaro! I guess there was a deal on the cars, you only had to pay a small amount to get upgraded to a high end car. Of course, my dad and brother picked the Camaro which I was totally fine with:) I got to drive the orange beauty and it was the greatest, smoothest thing I have ever driven. I didn't want to step out of the driver's seat.
My grandparents(dad's side) live right on a golf course in Bullhead City and I can tell you, I am the member of a golfing family! My grandma and grandpa love to golf, my dad was a pro, my 15 year old brother is pretty much already in the PGA and I have taken home a few medals myself:) I think it is a great sport to be involved in because you are never really too old to go out for a round! So anyways, it was so wonderful to see grandma and grandpa because they live in Arizona for 6 months of every year and we missed them so much since they left in October. We definitely received a warm welcome.
So that is all I am going to blog today about my Christmas Vacation but check out my blog tomorrow to see what we do next in our Arizona Adventure!:)
