As many of you know, there are many events that are being cancelled due to COVID-19 in the interest of keeping everyone safe.
This includes my good friend Ruby’s JDRF Ottawa Sunlife Walk to Cure Diabetes. Ruby is a Type 1 Diabetic, and this walk raises funds for research to maybe one day find a cure for this debilitating disease.
This year, Ruby has teamed up with her twin brothers to raise funds for Type One Diabetes, with a special twist! Ruby’s twin brothers are going to shave their heads for this great cause. In Ruby’s own words, “Type 1 Diabetes needs research more than people need hair!”
